Post #2: Technology Training & E-learning 2.0 for Associations

I really enjoyed the "Technology Training" reading because of the information that it provided for me. The reading reminded me of how the training at my job is very bad and inconsistent. That I already knew by experience but now I am able to pin point what areas the management lacks in their training programs. After gaining the information from the reading, I am now able to help my job, managers, and co-workers by coming forth with some guidelines to very effective training. Training is very important as well as comprehending it accurately to run a successful business. Unfortunately, many companies and organizations lose out on business which is the hidden costs of lost opportunity because of poor training. Also, which like I learned can be lost of a lot of money, time, and efforts which are on the surface. Which is why this reading is a good source of information for organizations and mainly employees to succeed as a business.
I also enjoyed the "E-learning 2.0 for Associations" reading because it explains the evolution of technology pertaining to learning. The word "Future" is a very big word when talking about technology and it is proven just in this reading alone. It obviously shows that this world is open to so much more opportunity than it already has. Technology like the web has taken not only teaching to a whole new level but also learning because of the connections and access just among the students who are learning. A great example is how so many universities offer and focus on earning degrees online, which I'm sure past graduates would have found very convenient at that time of which it was not available. At the rate we are going already, we are bound to have Web 2.5, 3.0, etc.
